Over four thousand years ago, the ancient seers and sages of India
conceived and produced thousands of different yantras.

Yantras are visual tools used for meditation and represent universal
archetypal energies. Drawing and painting a yantra can quiet the mind and
improve concentration. Creating a yantra engages the visual, nonverbal
right hemisphere of the brain, while contemplating its symbolic nature
stimulates the left side.

Yantras are traditionally drawn and painted starting from the outside
inward, and this process is meant to bring the person creating the yantra
more inwardly focused, quiet, and serene. The Bindu, or point, at the very
center is ultimately the focal point and used as a concentration tool during
meditation.
A step-by-step guide to
drawing and coloring
yantras, this book is an
amazing work, making
these sacred ancient
designs accessible to
anyone who wishes to
engage in this peaceful,
nourishing practice.

Each design is unique in its qualities and each individual painted yantra is
unique in the energy and intention directed upon it during the creative
process.

Kevin will create a custom yantra for you by request or by according to a
specific quality you wish to permeate your life. These yantras are typically
created with goauche paint on  9"x9" watercolor paper, though size may
vary depending on design. Kevin will also recommend an accompanying
Mantra to increase the effects of meditating on the Yantra.
